Description: This piece is 10.6" x 13.8 and is on 140lb FABRIANO Watercolor paper.
These paper pieces are from the "Band-Aid Series" The pieces are quick attempts to freeze the freshness of the moment with in the painting. The rapid aggressive application creates beautiful fields of textures, varied saturations, and depth. The pieces are composed of Photo Copied images of my childhood and prechildhood and acrylic paints. The images are all personal but they hold as more than moments of history that have been healed with band-aids of paint. They also stand as a delusional grey-scale of forms and shapes that collide with a modern wave of acrylic paint.
This piece would look lovely framed or mounted. You could also just tack it up with pins or bulldog clips. In a recent show I composed a wall with dozens of the band-aid pieces and tacked up together they create a pretty powerful wall of color and forms.
The piece is signed and dated by artist, Adam Bledsoe.
The painting is shipped securely in a flat packaging. Shipping charge is included within the price of the piece.
